Articles on RTech News are drafted with the assistance of large language models, working from the published reporting of other news organisations. We disclose this on every article.
The rules our system works under
- A draft may use only facts present in its source material. The model is instructed never to invent a statistic, date, name or quotation.
- Every draft passes an automated review that checks it against its own sources and flags any claim the sources do not support.
- Drafts assessed as carrying a high risk of unsupported claims are discarded, not published.
- A human editor reviews and publishes every article. Nothing goes live without that step.
- Sources are listed on the article and linked.
Limitations we want you to know about
AI summarisation can still misread nuance or flatten a contested claim into a plain one. For breaking news especially, please read the original reporting we link to. If we have got something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
Corrections
Email us via the contact page. We correct errors promptly and note material corrections on the article.
Independence
We do not accept payment for coverage. Our section mix is set by news value.
