Pardi police in Nagpur have intercepted an alleged liquor smuggling attempt, seizing a consignment of liquor and a vehicle with a total estimated value of Rs 7,55,460, according to nagpurtoday.in. The action occurred ahead of the upcoming Gandhi Jayanti dry day.
During the operation, police arrested Akhilesh Jaiswal in connection with the seizure. The incident involved the interception of a Maruti Baleno car on the Bhandara highway, which was allegedly transporting a large quantity of liquor.
